以无锡寄畅园及北京谐趣园为比较,从山水诗的诗法、山水画的形法,以造园的位置对偶、掇山高下、理水远近、林木藏露、滩桥气势、空间离合、居游动静、赏析古今——八个方面,对两园进行优劣比较。并阐明中国人如何将诗情画意带入日常生活里的造园法则。

This article compares Jichang Garden located in Wuxi and Xiequ Garden in Beijing through examining how the laws of composing Shanshui poems and structuring Shanshui paintings had been applied in their designs.Eight pairs of key characters(eight Chinese words)are observed throughout the course of comparing,in order to manifest the superiors and inferiors of these two gardens.Based on the analysis on the eight aspects,this article clarifies the laws of garden making through which the Chinese repose poetics in their daily lives.
